Q: I want to help with volunteering. What can I do to help?
A: At the
moment there is not enough work to justify additional help, however the best
thing you could do to help right now is simply to spread the word about the
Adopt The 82nd Program. Maybe there are coworkers who would like to pool a
donation together at your work?
I am trying to get as much press
within our community as possible. It is possible that when orders pick up we
will need help packing, but sadly right now there just isn't enough work to
go around.
If you know of any local businesses that may be interested
in donating please let them know. I am also looking for local snack producers
(think Powerbar) to donate goods. I am always looking for more good
ideas.
In the meantime, I'd be happy to take down your name and put you on our help list when donations pick up. Just send us an email. Thank you!
